This window depicts Jesus Christ and his followers at the Sermon on the Mount.

Inscription:
‘Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow’. (Matthew 6:28)

Dedication:
‘In loving memory of John Downie who died 25th Novmeber 1892. Also John Thomas his son, who died 15th June 1899 Erected 1905’.

Artist/Designer:
Nathaniel Bryson (1872-1918) was born in Edinburgh and trained in Stained Glass window design and also exhibited in the RSA. His studio was based in Greenside near Calton Hill in Edinburgh.
