Artist/Designer:
Barnett of Leith
Francis Barnett (1814-1880) Barnett was born in York and trained at his father’s studio based in York- John Barnett & Sons. It appears that company disbanded in 1853. By 1859, Francis and his brother Mark relocated to Edinburgh and started up a studio based in Leith called the Edinburgh and Leith Stained Glass Works. In 1894, Barnett started his own studio called Barnett & Son, with his son William Collinridge Barnett.
