‘This window was given in 1957/by Mary Buchannan Cosens for the beautification of God’s House/and in Memory of Her husband/ Robert Romanes Cosens/ and her mother and father/ Agnes Long and Stewart McGlashen and other dear ones. ‘

This window was installed in 1957.

Artist/Designer:
Francis Spear: (1902-1979) was born in South Norwood, London. Spear attended the London County Council Central School of Arts & Crafts, studying Industrial Design, with a focus in stained glass. Spear taught in the Royal College of Art and at the Central School. He worked with Martin Travers before and upto the start the Second World War.
