Window of five pointed trefoil lights with tracery in the Apse.
Lower stage of lancets:
Five single, named, allegorical figures: central three are Faith, Hope, Charity, flanked by Truth and Justice.
Upper stage of lancets:
Single figures of the four Evangelists, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John flanking the figure Jesus, distinguished by the Resurrection halo.
Biblical text below the figures: “Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
Tracery:
Includes five (upper torso) angels (elongated trefoils) interspersed with mouchettes, four putti angels (trefoils), Alpha and Omega (quatrefoils), central angel with banner (quatrefoil) above Resurrection shield.
Dedication:
“To the Glory of God in grateful memory of James Baird Esor of Revd. Wm. Fergus and Cambusdoon. A generous friend. Congregation of the Church of Scotland. 1905. Designed and Painted by Norman M. MacDougall 1905”
Artist:
Norman MacDougall (1852–1939) born in Glasgow, studied at the Glasgow School of Art and joined the Guthrie Studio in 1887 after living in London and working with noted stained glass artist Daniel Cottier.
