The Coat of Arms for Scotland

Window of one curve headed lancet light.

This window depicts the Coat of Arms, a variation of the traditional Coat of Arms for Scotland.

William (Willie) Wilson (1905-1972): Wilson was born in Edinburgh. Wilson apprenticed with James Ballantine II, while attending classes at Edinburgh College of Art. He started his own studio in 1937. The studio was incredibly productive, producing a mass amount of glass for Scotland and England. Wilson slowly became blind through diabetes, yet the studio continued to produce. Wilson was a member of the Royal Scottish Academy and he was awarded an OBE.
