This window depicts a young David with his sling in hand, loaded with a stone, setting out for the camp of the Philistines, to meet the giant Goliath.
Artist/Designer:
Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848-1933) was born in New York son on Charles Lewis Tiffany, a prominent New York jeweler and silversmith. Tiffany started as a painter, but his talent for the decorative arts is where he focused. Tiffany along with others, developed new types of glass to incorporate into stained glass panels. The copper foil method was also devised by his employees.
